Looking for in-State folks with recent (within the last 2-3 years) experience

class of 2026
attends a rigorous college prep private school, in State of LA
2.9 core TOPS GPA unweighted
3.3 overall weighted GPA
23 ACT
lots of extracurriculars
would be a 5th generation LSU student

Is he a minority?
If he is, then you’re golden.

Asking out of ignorance as a 1st gen UNO grad; does this matter at all school like LSU? I have heard about this at the Ivy and top tier private schools; but do State schools care

I think a 23 act and mediocre GPA isn’t a sure thing these days but I might be wrong

meh, I made a 25 on the ACT in 1997 and I'm doing just fine
I know a lot of 30+'ers that didn't amount to shite in life

I think the ACT score will improve 2-3 points on the next attempts, especially with Science being removed LINK

He shouldnt go to college unless he has a plan for what he is going to do there

Otherwise it will just be 13th grade and a waste of your money.

A 25 in 1997 is like a 20 today
