You’ve all heard it. Bob died, he was 65. Damn, he was still so young, that’s a damn shame. Hell, another example. Jeff passed away at 78. He still had so much time left, had a lot more years, etc.

At what age do you think most people would say, “They lived a long life, it was their time”. I know the life expectancy is somewhere around 80 right? So if you die before you reach the age of 80, did you die a premature death?

At what point do you think is an age where you can feel that you lived as long as you could have and have peace with that?

Depends on how you die.

Live a long and productive life with useful offspring? 70-80ish

Fight a bunch of wars and tear pussy up across the globe? 35ieh

Healthy - Old as Possible

Bad Health - 75 or so

Honestly, not sure I'd want to go much past 80.

It depends on health. My dad is 66 and in good health and has many years left. My mom died of cancer at 57. If dad died now it will be a gone too soon mindset because he's still healthy.

Depends on one's quality of life at any particular age, ST. Cost v benefit. Health weighs heavy; mind and body.

And depending on if one has 'responsibilities' toward young beloved. That might mean one would be willing to hang on and suffer in order to help those you love.

I know this, things start going down pretty fast at 70. Use it or lose it.

Good luck.

Apply for social security, never collect a check. Sounds ideal.

I always think about that Japanese Guy who climbed Everest at 75, and then did it again at 78. That is grit!

80 would be good for me. I don't need to live in extreme pain and shitting my pants
