This. I feel fine for my age, but I feel my age. I think for most people like me aging is such a gradual process that you don’t really notice it much.

The exception appears to be major illness or injury which I’ve been fortunate to avoid to this point. I have my share of age appropriate minor ailments but nothing that’s been a game changer like some others have unfortunately experienced. Nothing I’ve done especially wise (I lift weights but with subpar form). Just luck of the draw.

I would say 36. I turned 43 on Jan 5th. I worked out a good amount from 29-34 and was the healthiest and best I ever looked/felt.

After getting married I just stopped and I'm struggling now. Literally sore from sleeping. What a joke. It's not from getting old. It's from getting fricking lazy and drinking too many nattys.

Eat like shite, drinking, staying up late that's what makes you hurt. I'm trying to change my ways even though I get scared it's too late.

I say that cause you can get out of breath walking and talking, or you go upstairs to go to bed and lay down and your heart is beating hard. I'm gonna win. I promised myself. It's scary to go hard like you used to.

It's not about age. It's lifestyle. You just cannot recover or do half and half like we used to. Like work out for an hour and then still drink a 12 pack and eat jambalaya. Got to drink moderate, eat better, and work out. Taking fricking vitamins suck, but all this has gotta be done to stay here longer for the family.

I struggle every day because I didn't realize it sooner.

I fricking get sore from sleeping the wrong way. Jesus

About 65. Plantar fasciitis first, then lower back and finally knees. Most of this could have been avoided by just decent cardio and keeping weight off.

Haven’t hit it yet in early 30s. I’m as strong as I’ve ever been and hope that my work out regimen keeps me younger.

It will, but you will come to a point, where recovery will start to matter a lot more than it used to. A proper diet and sleep takes care of a lot of that though.

I'm 40 and i used to think it was bullcrap when people would say "There is a difference in 39 and 40, 40 is when your body starts telling you no you can't do those things anymore"

I believe them now, it is like a switch was flipped. Not only do i pay for doing things i used to love doing but i can't eat anything spicy like i used to. The family went to a Mexican place friday night and i was up on the toilet at least 8 times that night.

38. It's like my body did a 180. I get tired easily. My muscles hurt, sleep like shite and have stomach problems. But I don't workout or eat very good so that has something to do with it.
Stress makes it worse.
It really works when you strength train, workout your heart, and eat right. Who knew?

I was 57 when arthritis hit me first in my right shoulder. This was right after I had hernia surgery. I am 70 now and arthritis is in my knee and low back now also.

thats the problem. the baws come home from a long day at work and just pop open a brewsky and sit on the couch. they are the fat tv dads from the 80 & 90s aka john goodman.

then they wonder why they hurt. they are weak.

OP, personally I am 39, I feel as good now as i ever have. only time i notice anything if i end up having to sit all day at my desk.

most of you guys need to get your act together and start lifting and eating right. lay off the rice and gravy and the pastas. PLaying catch with your kid shouldnt be a chore.

OT...see this is how you take the first step to admitting there is possibly a problem.

most of you are just like this guy, you arent hurting because you are getting old, you are hurting because you dont move around enough nor stimulate your muscles enough.

and most of eat and drink like shite

Here is to you PUTT23....the real baw

and yea married life gets the best of all of us, atleast for a while. at one point i was 245lbs at 5'10. that is fat as frick. I got tired of being tired and being a fat arse. glad to see you are getting tired of it too.
