No one in my immediate family....I do have shitty luck though and that is present in the entire family.

I haven't lost mine yet, I'm 31. I have a handful of grey beard hairs. My dad has had a receding hairline since I can remember. My brother was basically bald by the time he was 25 (he's 35 now). My grandpa (mom's dad) was bald by the time he was 25 as well. My two uncles on my mom's side still have heads full of hair and they are in their late 50's/early 60's.

I don't have any net loss. What's growing on my back makes up for what's no longer growing on my head

I’ve thought about one of those long back shavers, but that shite would come back like a beard.

I always heard that it was your mother's father. But he had a full head of hair in his 70s and my cousins on my mom's side were all going bald in their early 20s. Their dad was bald AF.

My dad went bald in his 30s and so did I.

Anyway, "mother's father" is not a good indicator.

I turn 49 this Sunday and it’s still thick as shite. Too thick. I’d always hoped it would thin out at least some as I got older. But nope.

Started to get thin around 30. Started cutting it very short after 2-3 years. Did the full shave at 35.

Was going to try Rogaine (this was 20 years ago) but at the time, you had to reapply if you got your hair wet (sweat or swimming). Plus, it was expensive and I am cheap.

Going bald is a sign of low testosterone

Every male in my family, on both sides, has gone to their grave with a full head of hair, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

Probably around 23 or 24. I'd already been shaving my head for years though.

Please DON'T:

1) Comb over.
2) Pony tail.
3) Wear a rug.

Just be natural. Go ahead and buzz it short or shave. I prefer my men to be high & tight, .mil anyway.

Started balding around 27. Started Rogaine then and went with it for about 17 years and it held steady at half frequency for 15 of those 17. After that I decided to use clippers with a 1.5 guard on them. It looks good and is super convenient.
