This kind of stuff continues to blow my mind

I searched Zillow. This is the cheapest non apartment/condo I found for sale. Around 1,800 sq ft for a stand alone house. $699,000

Now let’s search for a home in the Hill Country. Here’s 3,800 sq ft in New Braunfels for $589,000. $110,000 cheaper!

To be fair if you picked home in any of the major cities in Texas youd get ridiculous prices still. San Francisco is still obviously worse, but not that much worse.

Honestly, I’m pretty surprised by the size of that house in SF. Its similar to what you would get for $700k in areas of Houston like the Heights, West U, Upper Kirby, Tanglewood, Bellaire, etc.

New Braunfels is 30 min from San Antonio and 45 min from Austin.

It’s not middle of nowhere

Less than an hour to San Antonio where you can catch the Spurs.

Meanwhile: Giants, Niners, Dubz.

pro LSU , Louisiana here but I think you’re right. We went to Arlington for the LSU/Miami game , I told my wife I wouldn’t mind living there. That’s a great city
