I'd never attend another company event unless I packed at least a sandwich or something. Good god.

ETA: The founder now has the title of Chief Culture Officer. What an arrogant bastard.

In an email to about 6,000 employees on Friday, the $20 billion office rental company announced that it will no longer reimburse employees for meals that include red meat, poultry, or pork and will stop serving meat at company events.

How is any of that a great move?? considering I'd Fathom a guess that 90% of the employees eat meat..

And WTF is this about??

These amounts don't seem accurate unless they're having company events with hundreds of thousands of people.

WeWork estimates the policy will save 445.1 million pounds of Carbon Dioxide emissions by 2023, 16.6 billion gallons of water, and 15,507,103 animals.

So, they think racially profiling isn't racial discrimination? Interesting.

What a pussy thing to do.

What are they going to do... look at each lunch receipt and figure out what item each person had and deduct those items that contained their banned meats? If you get a cheeseburger, can you get still get reimbursed for the french fries, bun, lettuce, tomato etc.? What if you are fortunate enough to find a place that makes biscuits with lard? Do you get reimbursed for those?

Lol at those estimates. Probably just going to waste more meant from animals already butchered and/or cooked...

But I mean, they are free to do whatever
