Can't remember if I was in SUAVE or not. I might have just went to the parties.
I was a member. Not much volunteering but a hell of a lot of entertaining

I was a DKE back in the early 90’s. Moved on to doing the real job grown up thing after graduation. However, I’m still friends with a lot of my old college buddies and many of them went on to have very successful careers which at times has been helpful in business. All in all I had fun with it.

Didn’t have to pay for friends.

I have a Sam’s Club membership

Nope. I worked hard for my money and wouldn’t consider spending much of it to join a club of any kind.
The social frat thing was not interesting to me anyway, so I wouldn’t have joined even if it were free. I had a roommate who was in PKA, and nothing he described ever made it sound worth all the money he spent and bullshite he had to deal with.

And the dues didn’t pay for friends. They paid for bad arse parties, trips, fundraisers, etc. The lifelong friendships came for free.
This. As it’s said, “I paid for my friends, & it’s the best investment I ever made.”

Nah me neither, I was 10 years older than everyone at LSU when I got out of the Army and started school.

I have 2 degrees from LSU. The first one I was 18-22 and did the regular college life. I'm just not a socialite although I dated a sorority girl and went to some of their functions.
I went back to school at like 23-24 and got another degree but I was too old for that shite at that age but was perfectly fine with the younger women.

Hell no. The last thing I wanted to do after all-boys Catholic high school was join another sausage party. Still banging a hot (former) sorority girl though
So did we. Your welcome.

Was GDI for a year and was okay but boring as frick in college terms. Pledged and was fricking awesome time of my life being FAF with my “bought” brothers.

TBH I had a lot better time in college at 24 & 25 than I did at 19. I was a little bit older and more experienced but not at an awkward age to go to most of the bars or anything. Best time of my life

You don’t call a fraternity a frat.
Would you call your country a count?

Tappa Keg '82
The Tap-A-Keg (When it was on Columbus & 75th) was one of the all-time great dive bars in NYC. The bar scene in Star Wars was a tribute to it. The intellectual owner (also a Mafia boss) allowed George Lucas to shoot film in it on the off-hours any time he wanted to (when Lucas was young and broke)

In 1 year? You are fricking so cool man. I didn’t do much in school this year so there was quite a bit of time to post. I think I am totally fine brother, but thanks for looking out for me jackass!
