No because I have some sense of responsibility.

Either way, the transubstantiated bread is kept in the tabernacle, so even if you did what you're saying, you just ate bread and drank wine. Not as scandalous as you might assume.

Not at all, I am sure that my wife would want the memory of the biggest day of her life to be me shite bagged and groping bridesmaids.

Only a few drinks before the ceremony, but the whole wedding party was away downing moonshine before the reception started. Ended the night at a karaoke bar with everyone. great times.

I was hungover from the night before, but not buzzed at the wedding.

We (groom/groomsmen) got hammered before my cousins wedding. I had to hold his BIL from falling in the fountain behind the alter. We were laughing the whole ceremony. There were a couple muffled
"don't do it's" out of our group as well.
His wife was cool as shite though and thought it was hilarious.
When we watched the video the whole grooms party was swaying uncontrollably the whole ceremony.
Easily the most fun wedding I've ever been a part of.

The ones that amaze me are those that are still trashed from the night before.

No. I didn't get drunk until well into the reception. Then I got DRUNK. We had a pretty big night before for the rehearsal dinner, so drinking during the day wasn't on my to do list. During the reception, I felt like it was a lot of shaking hands and taking pictures. Didn't really spend a lot of time drinking at first. Then I woke up on the couch of the honeymoon suite the next morning still in my suit
. I don't recall a lot in between that. Wife was not the happiest camper.

My priest made it very clear that being drunk for the ceremony was not an option and grounds for annulment.

I wasn't drunk, but was buzzed among other things. Got married in Jamaica with just the wife and me so there was some partying taking place.

No, had a 4am flight the next morning

I'm talking during the actual exchanging of vows, not the reception after.
I had had several drinks throughout the day, and about an hour before the ceremony, all of the groomsmen and I did Irish Car Bombs at a bar down the street form the church. Our photographer thought it was a good idea, and we got some good pictures from that, and my wife thinks it was hilarious.
I wasn't incoherent or anything like that, but I definitely wouldn't have passed a breathalyzer test.

Posted on 1/25/16 at 8:34 am to AlbertMeansWell
