a little bit

one of my favorite memories about my wedding day was me and my wife sitting upstairs, sharing a bottle of wine to relax our nerves, watching everyone come up to the house/yard for our wedding

we weren't drunk, but we definitely were more relaxed after drinking a bottle of wine right before

I definitely was not drunk at my wedding. Priest probably wouldn't have allowed it to take place if I were

Not married, but I had to help a buddy get back to the hotel with his new bride once. She was, much as you'd expect, extremely unhappy.

In his defense he goes from sober to plastered in about 15 minutes and without clear warning signs, and he's not really the type you'd expect to frick up his own wedding.

I made sure we had 2 half gallons of whiskey in our changing room. Also made sure the open bar was serving before and during the ceremony

Bunch of drunks in here. It isn't "cool." It's sad.

Let me clarify. We had to be at the church like 3 hrs before the wedding started for pictures, so my in-laws had a small bar just outside the back of the church for the wedding party prior to guests showing up. It's not like the ushers were seating guests with a tallboy in their hand.

We are Episcopal, not Catholic. It's a little more relaxed.

No, I'd quit drinking by then. Popped a couple vicodin instead.

Buzzed...a vicoden to cure the night before (groomsman's wife gave it to me...I NEEDED it...but gave me a lil good buzz to go along with the 4 beers I had prior). My crew and I went to Kona after our reception and got hammered. Oops.

Not that there's anything wrong with it.

One of my groomsmen brought stuff for mimosas to my room while we were getting ready. Had maybe 2, but I was so nervous I didn't get anything from them. I wrote my vows literally right before the ceremony. Got real drunk afterward, almost fought my dad. We hate each other

During the reception, yes. Not during my wedding although I had a nice buzz before it started.
