how do the airplane filters stop the person sitting next to you from getting sick?

Travelers had to wear a mask while flying.

Unless they were eating airline cookies, then they could remove the mask. Covid didn’t exist while people were eating on a plane.

So, airline cookies were the key all along to stopping the virus.

Yeah.. Masks were basically useless and annoying to wear. I agree. It doesnt bother me 5 years later that I had to wear one sometimes though....

Ive had worse stuff happen to me since then.

Wearing a mask seems preferable to watching Jalen Milroe run all over us in Tiger Stadium last year.

No, it's because I know that people deal with actual challenges every day.

I am blessed to still be alive to even have the ability to complain about the masks if I chose to. Many wish they could say the same.

Quit trying to think of ways the world has fricked you over and think of all the ways it has blessed you.

You could've been born in Gaza or some other shithole

I know how it is supposed to work, I've yet to see it work that way in actual traffic....

I got laid off. But I drove around the country for 5 months. It was great if you stuck to small towns. Then went back to work

I applaud your employer.

If your employer read this ridiculous thread, you would still be on the block.

I went to Belize in April of 21, had to take a covid test before the flight back, I was halfway hoping I would fail it and have to spend an extra 10 days in Belize.

2 personal knowledge stories on coming back to US with negative COVID tests before re-entry. Both from Caribbean island trips:

1) wife and I went for testing day or 2 before departure. Nose swab wasn’t deep enough to get a booger much less test anything. Negative test

2) Friends went for test and were handed negative tests when they walked in. Obviously negative.
