Searchin' for soda bottles
To get myself some dough
Brought 'em down to the corner
Down to the country store
Cash 'em in, and give my money
To a man named Curtis Loew

Morning.

People said he was useless
Them people all were Jews
Cause Curtis Lowe was the finest
“Dude” to ever play the Blues

With white, curly hair.

And when he had a 5th of wine,
He did not have a care.

I wouldn't mind a Second Helping of some Lynyrd Skynyrd this fine morning.

One of my favorites from Lynyrd Skynyrd.

My all time favorite has to be All I Can Do Is Write About It.

I wake up early in the morning 'round the crack of dawn and
Wave to my neighbors like what's up? (Say what's up?)
And I'm all tatted up, dat bang in my trunk
Everybody in ma city show me love

Because I got my speakers going hammer, bammer-bammer-bammer

Play me a song
Curtis Loew, Curtis Loew
Well, I got your drinkin' money
Tune up your Dobro
People said he was useless
Them people all were fools
'Cause Curtis Loew was the finest picker
To ever play the blues

I love Lynyrd Skynyrd ....
I watched an interview with Ronnie Van Zant, he was asked why he performed without shoes... he answered,"so he could feel the music resonate off the stage."
Southern kick arse rock and roll!

Sure til Freebird comes tearin’ down a gravel road in a jacked up 80s Chevy, carton of Marlboro reds, case of frickin Bud, and a god damned sawed off across the passenger seat to go shoot ducks on the roost and frick Curtis Lowe’s woman while wearing a “come and take em” hat and cut off sleeves.

Don’t you ever disrespect FB like that again, baw.

The last name of Loew was used as a nod to Loews theater.

So Curtis was Jewish.
