Same here with the exam. I still have it every once in a while, I wake up in a panic.

Yep. Same. Proof of the matrix that so many people have this one.

I had one last year that LSU was playing Auburn in some weird version of Jordan Hare and the game began with me watching on TV, then somehow I ended up on the sideline drinking coors light, then I got subbed into the game at RB and realized I didn’t know any plays. Brian Kelly called timeout and looked all pissed off and confused (most realistic part of the dream here) and then I woke up and was kinda pissed off myself that I didn’t get to see if I got a carry.

( lots of course )

Just woke up from this one. My car has been repo'ed and I'm magically standing in acres of other such repo'ed cars. And I'm stuck wandering about with an employee, explaining that I paid cash in full so how can my car be here. And as I'm explaining to this dummy the scene morphs into him being the eldest child and we're now inside a West Virginia farm house full of Jecso White's younger relatives and the cop I've called grabs me to say be quiet because there's a lot of stolen cars around here. It's a house full of kids, smiling with food drooling from the corners of their mouths and mamma who's saying we going to have to wait for their dad.... it's so vivid I wake up to make sure my car's still here.

And now after deciding it's from a caffeine headache because of not drinking enough coffee.... I stubble on this thread while waiting for the brew to finish.

eta: Strange, but the cup's now drunk and I'm going back to bed.

Im a little jealous of people who have and can remember their dreams, particularly the people who can do the lucid dreaming where they can control the plot to speak.

Don't think I can remember a dream I've had in years.

I have a dream a time or two per year that I am in the last semester of college, and I have never been to one or more of my classes that semester and now won't graduate. I wake up bummed out and then realize I graduated decades ago.

Similar affect with dreams about young ladies I am interested in, but she won't give me the time of day. Wake up bummed (same as school dream) only to see my wife of 35 years snoozing away and the thought "You are married dumbass."

When I fall asleep with a nicotine pouch in my lip I get some wild and vivid dreams. I keep having a recurring dream where I'm driving and for some reason or another I need to slam on my brakes to avoid an accident and when I press the brake pedal it doesn't work properly. It works a little bit and my vehicle slows down some but never enough to avoid the accident and then right at the point of impact I wake up. The circumstances change such as different vehicles, different locations, etc. but the overall premise stays the same and I always wake up startled and I jump up out of my sleep in a panic state with my heart pounding.

My girlfriend has psychoanalyzed me and says that subconsciously I must believe that my life is out out of control and chaotic.

2 I have quite often

One is I’m trapped on the wrong side of the I-10 bridge in Lake Charles without a vehicle. It’s important for some reason I get to the other side so I have to cross it on foot (I’m terrified of heights). 18 wheelers buzzing by me lifting my feet off the ground as they go by. I always wake up right before one is going to knock me over the side.

The other is I’ve accidentally killed someone with my truck but instead of reporting it I go into hiding. I’m moving from town to town sleeping in barns and shite. I take odd jobs that pay cash so I can eat. The entire dream is basically playing hide and seek from the cops. That one usually just ends without any resolution. I think my subconscious just gets bored of it

another this morning. I was trying to swat a wasp that had gotten in the house and couldn't hit it because my depth perception was so off. vision in one eye is much worse than the other. wasp was hovering in front of my face and I still couldn't hit it. there was also a small, fat black spider on the floor.

I graduated 26 years ago, and I'll still occasionally have the dream where I didn't go to class all semester and now I have to take the final exam.

More than 20 years ago, was talking about that particular kind of dream with an older, semi-retired engineer in our office (he since has passed away; he was probably in his 70s back then). He said he STILL had those dreams occasionally, even at his age.

I have had a lot of weird dreams, but the most reality-based dream I remember happened about 3-4 years ago. In the dream I was in church, and the priest was doing the thing with walking down the aisle and sprinkling holy water on people in the pews with his aspergillum.

But when he got to me, he looked at me with an intent look and started sprinkling water just on me over and over. I was like, "Hey Father Tim, what the heck?" and I woke up. Before I opened my eyes I could feel water actually sprinkling on me for real. Opened my eyes and saw water was being sprinkled off the ceiling fan over our bed; it was dripping from the ceiling above the fan directly onto the blades.

I knew right away what had happened-- the drip tray under the AC handler in the attic (right above the master bedroom) was clogged and it was overflowing. Was able to get up there quickly and take care of it before any major damage occurred.

Actually glad I was sleeping under it when it occurred and it didn't happen a day or so later, as we were going out of town on vacation the next day.

There is an Ugly arse feral cat that’s been hanging outside my house IRL . In my dream I was walking out my back door on my way to work and the cat was waiting for me. Looked me straight in the eyes and said “I’m a house cat”. Walked by him, opened the door to my truck and he’s sitting in the drivers seat. Looked up at me and said “I’m a house cat mutha fricker!” . Wtf?

I dreamed I was evading Iranians while in Iran two nights ago. I escaped them the first time but they got me the second time. What a weird dream.

A friend’s dream:
IRL He keeps a gun holstered on his side of the bed.
One night he dreamed a helicopter was trying to land on him so he started shooting at it.
When he woke up, he saw a bullet hole in the ceiling fan above the bed and there was a round missing in his gun.

I had one last night that was very weird. My high school friends and I were hanging out, but we were all girls. Next thing I know female me is in the bath tub, and I hear something moving outside the shower curtain. I’m certain it’s an evil spirit, and I start yelling “Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior” over and over again. I was terrified and it woke me up
A lot to unpack here, including your man-card.

I had a college gf who loved to get me really high and then get sexy with me and she’d write down what I’d say in my horny high buzz state.

One thing I remember her saying I said was something along the lines of if she and I could switch bodies for a day, when she got her body back, I would have worn her fingers all down to nubs (from self-pleasuring, I guess?). Certainly sounds like me to say something stupid like that.

Not a dream, but as close as I can get to one as I don’t remember mine.
