Refund, eh? Did he also pick out the glue for the invitations?

I'm with the video company on this one as it pertains to the money. Their explanation for why the contract is non-refundable is detailed and logical. No need for the taunting though.

The videography company is in the wrong after thinking about it more.

That kind of goes out the window once they started taunting him over the tragic death of his fiancee

They deserve whatever they have coming to them now

They essentially made fun of his fiance dying, and bought websites and all to defend themselves, but it looks a lot more like mocking him and his situation.

But I have no issue with them not providing a refund.

Don't worry, he'll have 3.5 million on GoFundMe by morning.

Talk about the definition of "winning a battle but losing the war" Wow that is some bonafide stupidity. I get that they will probably not rebook that date but working with the guy to refund some or all if they do get it rebooked is a much better way to go than " you signed a contract...sorry future mrs died...lifes a bi-ch" and take out a website trolling the guy.

Have to agree. I would have definitely sided with the no refund aspect, but why respond like that even if he did go to the media? Stay quiet and let him look like a turd.. or if you must say something, politely explain the policy and step away from the limelight.

This is textbook on how to lose the legal battle coming. Completely stupid reaction by the company.

I mean, if the dude threatened them saying "I'm going to post about this" or "I'm going to the media" or something like that then I can't have sympathy for him.
I have a little sympathy for a guy who tragically lost his fiancee in a car crash

Terrible business practice by the company. Even if they are in the right.
