We ended that shite with the quickness. That’s what happens when daddy has to whip his bickering children back into place.

Luckily your company doesn’t have to worry about more employees dying the longer the project goes. Stop bitching. Are you not getting paid to be there?

We're focused on Winning Hearts and Minds. Not winning wars. Thank a politician for that.

That's because we went from winning wars to winning "hearts and minds" and "nation building."

It's a lot more complex than you make it out to be dumbass. At what points did we enter each war? What was all involved in each war? This thread is shite.

We were never at war vs Afghanistan.

In theory we invaded Afghanistan to find Osama bin laudin. We engaged irregulars in Mt caves and took losses.
Did not find him.

Then abrupt drawdown and focus on iraq. Pretending to fight Al quaida and pretending to stop nuclear development.
Caught Iraqi leader.

Barak Hussein Obama was cic when bin laudin was killed at home, in northern Pakistan.

The middle East is quite tribalized. Conflict in Syria Libya, Iraq, Yemen is tribalized as well as sometimes sectarian.

The US invaded Sicily and Italy in the summer of ‘43. D-Day landing in France was the following summer. The war in Europe was over before summer of ‘45.

So, the majority of US forces in Europe were engaged for less than a year.

WW1 was a brutal stalemate. The Central Powers capitulated and agreed to ludicrous terms, but it’s not as if either side’s military “won” the war.

WW2 had a much more decisive military conclusion to which no one power is solely responsible.

People these days don’t have the stomach for collateral damage, the 24 hour news cycle and embedded journalists don’t help.
