Serious answer that will be ignored on the OT. But at least my Poli Sci degree finally gets used. The Founding Fathers used property ownership as a ruler for many things. It was meant to be the deciding factor in the right to vote. Universal voting somehow became popular and is the root issue of our current problems.
The theory is that those who own something will vote for the best candidates to maintain their status. This will ultimately benefit all as they are voting for prosperity. When you allow everyone else to vote, then the equation changes. Suddenly prosperity isn't the goal but rather the satisfaction of the masses. Hence our current system where a candidate will promise to take from the producers to give to the consumers in order to get elected.
Any idiot can see that this isn't sustainable.

Unfortunately it will take another 9/11 type event to bring this country together.

The answer is very easy. Stop funding it with tax dollars.
Public schools no longer teach, ebt removes the need for meaningful employment, and child credits remove the need for a proper family unit. As long as we keep financing that behavior it will proliferate.

Meh, whoever has the right to vote will stick it to those who don't. Look at most of our financial problems that get kicked down the road to our children who cannot do a damn thing about it. If you make the deciding factor property ownership, property owners will vote for their own interests. The only dividing line that is even plausible is a certain level of intelligence IMO, but good fricking luck with that.
