Overwhelming red. JBE is an anomaly. Two republican senators

I guess things will begin to turn around when the free flow of money dries up. If they do this, it will be crickets in the TAF office.

I think the Advocate is just a pet project of Georges for his own personal platform and to give him clout. The real money comes from Imperial Trading Company. Hustling shitty foods to convenience stores increasing diabetes in black communities.
He also invested in Galatoires, but that will likely go tits up soon anyway.
And finally he owns the AMA Entertainment place on Airline.

That’s only thing that will get their attention.

Poor choice for Rep candidate for term 2

Confident in this administration
You realize this administration just changed the name of Middleton Library when there was legit push-back against a name change?
Unless we just refuse to hear out and put up with nonsense, it will never end. We just need to tell people to stop being senseless and pathetic. Completely disavow anything that makes any change or supports these nonsensical conspiracy theories.

A number of Black students, for instance, reside in halls bearing the names of people who wanted to enslave them: prominent Confederate Gens. P.G.T. Beauregard and E. Kirby Smith, to name two.
That’s the dumbest fricking thing I’ve ever heard. Just because someone fought for the confederacy doesn’t have to mean that they would want to “enslave black students” in fricking 2020.
This a-hole is just trying to start race bullshite to get his desperately-wanted attention. And he can go frick himself.

Providing a pic so if you see him on the street....

There’s no one on campus calling for a change of mascot.
NO ONE.
This is a solution being put forth for a problem that does not exist. 700 signatures on a petition? From where? From who? Compared to a student/alumni population of more than a quarter of a million people who don’t support a name change?
The vast majority of people on campus and off have no idea where the name originated, and they don’t feel the weight of the Confederacy pressing down on their chest when they see a depiction of Mike the Tiger. Even the ones who signed the “petition” are full of shite if they say it does, and they know it.
No, Mark Ballard, it is not time for LSU to “come to terms with its mascot,” whatever that means. It’s time for people to recognize what constitutes a legitimate concern about discrimination on campus and what does not. It’s time to come to terms with intellectual dishonesty, not a nickname that 99.99% of the world would not be offended by unless they were told to be.

Very few people knew why LSU is called the fighting Tigers. The Advocate article just enlightened them. The Advocate is the race baiting problem.

Dude our daughter is at Ole Miss — all they’ve done is relocate a confederate statue to the confederate graveyard on campus. I don’t think she’s talked if other issues or changes.
I’m not sad that she didn’t choose LSU one bit. Also LSU didn’t have her major either so that helped.
