Meanwhile, everyone else looks at both Millennials and Boomers and see they’re like identical twins. There isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the two.
There's some truth to that, but Boomers were born with a silver spoon.

You don’t think any other generation incurred hardships from those exact same events? Along with maybe other impacting moments too?

1) Boomers ARE a selfish gen.
2) Millennials are not the "greatest" anything -- other than at Video Game operation.
3) *BY DESIGN*. The State has programmed ALL of us since birth to become obedient, narcissistic zombies.
Can enough of us can shake loose of the brainwashing, drugging, and gaslighting?

Who were made that way by their Boomer parents
It's always my parent's generations fault, whatever generation you are and even when you're 45 years old.

These threads are useful to remind us that the average poster age on TD now skews towards 50 years old now

No but neither did most of the other generations. Personally I prefer the majority to be uninspired and washed. Makes it easier for the minority to stand out. Whichever group you happen to be in, do your kids a favor and raise them towards the latter.

We can’t “nut up” you boomers put micro plastic in the water and us millenials are sterile now

Screw the younger generation. I raised two of those little non appreciative shits. Everything is someone else’s fault.

Nah, my parents did a fantastic job. I've been on my own since 18 and I'm really well adjusted compared to my peers. But I'm more referring to those in the age group of "millenials" who were/are super coddled and can't function without someone telling them how awesome they are. That's not just them being them, they were made that way.

It is. You boomers ruined everything for yalls own benefit and israel and pulled up the ladder so we can’t get ahead
Us millenials would pull ourselves by our bootstraps but boomers voted for nafta and now all the shoes are made in China and the straps rip when you pull them

Instant gaucho classic right here

I need Fr33 to turn this into a folk song. It will be our anthem.

What economic crisis besides 2008? Millennials haven’t endured anything significant other than that recession and 9/11. I say this as a millennial. Most of my generation would be in the fetal position if they had to deal with events like WW1, Great Depression, WW2. There were vast amounts of suffering and death. We lose our shite today over a stupid wNBA player arrested in Russia over pot. Back then there thousands of Americans starving in war prisons being tortured and beaten daily.
We can talk shite when we experience living in a one room dirt floor home with 8 siblings walking to work for nickels in grade school years to help put food on the table only to get drafted into the deadliest conflict in human history, the results of which changed the geopolitical landscape and led to the rise of communism and millions being slaughtered due to political genocide for decades after.
Until we experience that, enjoy our Netflix and nice homes and bitch on the internet about the stock market ruining our few thousand dollars of investments on Robinhood. Otherwise shut the frick up because we have it had it better than any generation in history being insulated from the horrors of the real world. And it’s made us soft. So it’s a matter of time before we see it, and trust me, we will.

by definition I’m a millennial, but i just can’t see myself ever whining, crying, and blaming others for being a failure as some of you.

There have been flaws in every generation's techniques for raising kids. At some point, you are an adult and need to decide your own life. That was my point. Our parents influence us. Perhaps you and I were fortunate because our parents taught us to take responsibility early but there are people my age (60) who are constantly blaming others for their own failings. This is not a new thing, maybe more prevalent now though.
Millennials are 26-41 years old now.

Saw a presentation where guy discussed how Millenials on average hate other millenials more than any other generation. It's because the generation underwent such a division in culture in attitude. The same generation contains people who went to college to get meaningful degrees and had a house and family before 30 and 30 year old baristas that live with thier parents. Neither is an outlier
