We can't recycle anymore, because you people are filthy animals

Most of the crap people throw in those bins costs more to get rid of then they can sell it for.
And then there's this...
And the part where you nasty do-gooders come in...
So basically because you green hippie liberals can't be bothered to sort and clean your recycling items, China has told all of you go GFY and now recycling is a problem.
Why, why, would anyone throw a used paper plate in a recycle bin?

Not only are some household castoffs worthless - single-serve coffee pods, for example, with their mix of plastic, coffee grounds and peel-off aluminum tops - some materials in the bin contaminate others that might otherwise have been sold.

A paper plate that held fried chicken at a picnic retains so much grease that it ruins everything else in the bin,

What do you mean, you people?

I’m always sure to wash everything I but in the bin, if you aren’t going to do that, just throw the shite in the trash.

THIS is why we can't have nice garbage.

I remember the new LSU dining hall had places you could recycle used batteries etc. People just dumped food in there.

WSJ had an article years ago that basically concluded that almost all recycling causes more damage to the environment than it alleviates. I believe the only exception was aluminum. The biggest cause of environmental damage comes from the energy required to recycle most products. So basically, every time you do-gooder liberals deposit that plastic bottle in the recycling bin you are actually damaging the environment. Just another example of liberals' feels causing more harm than good.

That's why I only throw brand new paper plates in the recycle bin.

Some of you are so retarded it hurts. Now everyone who throws a bottle in a recycling bin is a liberal.

I'm a good recycler. I even peel off the labels on plastic bottles.
But, I see plenty of crap at the local recycling bin: Coke cans half full, wood products, pizza boxes with pizza still in it

I promise it’s not my fault, because I’ve never once used a recycle bin.

This is why I make it a point not to recycle

This is why I throw my trash out the window of my truck like a true Louisianian

Are you suggesting used toilet paper should not go to recycle bin?
Posted on 5/3/19 at 4:52 pm to LSUFanHouston
Recycling is a way for politicians to gain votes by being “pro-environment”, while lining their pockets by awarding contracts to supporters.

Have a little class; leave the open bag in the truck bed and let the wind take care of it for you.

I don’t recycle at all. I’ll start giving a frick about the environment and global warming when the far left starts giving a frick about reckless procreation and overpopulation.

That's an overly simplistic argument. One thing recycling has done is extend the life of local landfills. There is limited space in these landfills and when they finally have to close, your local trash will have to be trucked a lot further ways than it has to now..
