I had work on the big island of Hawaii last year and every evening for a week when we got back to the house we were staying at the news was about the weather being exactly the same for the 400th day in a row and a local park was shut down because of an ant infestation.
Then they had a segment on Jason Moama that lasted so long I started to think it was an infomercial.
I guess that was a good thing there was literally nothing else going on.

I love the local news. Fox affiliates seem to be better than most.
I travel a lot with my job. Mostly smaller towns. The local news gives me exactly what I want in 30 mins: traffic, weather, local sports, local news. That’s it. Generally, but not always, they leave the political spin to the national outlets.

You don’t seem to understand media segments.
“2 on your side” is a segment where they try to help local people who are having issues they can’t resolve.
You can post that they should stop offering 2 on your side, but to post that they are broadcasting this as news is false and uninformed.

They don’t have to televise 2?On Your Side in the first ten minutes or so. That should reserved for hard news.
We don’t need to see the weather two or three times during the broadcast unless there is an impending change or a weather event.
We don’t need to see video of the camera guy filming the news reporter.

I am very aware of how the segment works. ( believe it or not I actually worked in the media for a number of years)
I am sure WBRZ receives numerous submissions on a daily basis from viewers asking for help. I'm willing to bet that a number of the submissions they receive are both miniscule and ridiculous in nature.
IMO this particular story would qualify for both.

If they really want to do a serious report 2tv should report on all the dead plants in the median gardens on Government St.

The dumb bitch reporter knows nothing about pretty much every topic and just takes some boomer's whiny words as fact, then runs with it. They don't actually help get anything meaningful accomplished; they're just a mouthpiece for the biggest bitches among us.
