So, is Brooks going to ask to come back to the courtroom when they come back?
I would imagine the judge wants him in the main courtroom for closing

Another Brooks note. Still won't pledge to follow the rules. Denied again.

Judge is owning him with the pledge. Good for her.

Well his appeal route is clear. Hopefully the appellate courts don't include a liberal activist judge who decides to give this a ride.

Not a chance. The judge has been more patient with him than she has any need to be.

This is a game to him... take him out back and shoot him

Your honor, I acted like an actual adult just now so you need to let me back in even though I'm going to act exactly like I have been previously.

She has to stop arguing. Tell him she has made her ruling. If he won't write a promise then he can stay there. Then mute him and move on.
ETA: God dammit, she gave in.

God Damnit Judge...she flip flops so fricking much.

She is taking way too much time with him. This will not be a winner on appeal for him. Even if an error is found, it would be harmless at this point.
She is letting him control this trial again. Leave him out.

She is no longer requiring him to write it. She has backed down.

here goes another hour...

He's going to immediately be removed again. Another 10 minute delay incoming.

Who is he ranting to? She's off the bench.

She has to be second guessing her pledge decision for this part of the trial. I think him saying "this has never been done" put a fear into her.
