I think they normally do an initial polling of the charges after electing a foreman. It won't be an immediate verdict because there are 76 charges but I think it will be pretty quick. Maybe even today depending on how quickly they can get through everything now that he is in the other room and won't ever pledge to come back.

Interesting. Thanks. Yeah this will be done tomorrow at the latest. No way the jury spends two nights at the Hampton Inn

The real question is at what point does the hand wringing start for "why is it taking so long?"

The only way he isn't convicted on basically everything is if there is a white black supremacist on the jury who just refuses to convict on anything. I don't think that's likely, in Waukesha.

Is the jury able to see him from the other room?

Depending on when deliberations actually start... if we get towards the end of tomorrow without a verdict I'll start being like "uhhhh wtf is going on jury?"

Don't you know that he is dying to object to being called that name.

He finally learned how to pronounce tacit.

Someone must have given him a heads up. They should help him out with “ask” as well.

I really want to know who coached him and taught him what a sovereign citizen was.

His grand finale will be telling the jury in closing arguments "ladies and gentlemen, I am not Darrell Brooks. If the name don't fit, you must acquit!"

Someone out there who is just like him, whether in the system or someone who contacted him after his arrest. This embecile prior to this had no idea what a sovereign citizen was. He keeps arguing his constitutional rights when a true cs doesn’t argue based on the constitution because to them it is invalid.

How does the judge have the lawful right to drink while reading these charges? Brooks doesn’t have a Yeti cup.

Do y’all think he will actually give a closing argument?

I see him obstructing and refusing to pledge to follow to rules to the point where she forfeits his right.

I think he sees being not allowed to testify, call more witnesses, give a closing, etc as his best appeal route.

I'm guessing he's writing out his closing arguments. Any legal way for the judge to see it before he's allowed to speak to let her determine if he's remanded to the other room? Any lawyers in here?

No way he can control himself long enough to make a closing argument.

Besides, whatever he says is going to be stupid.

She's reading the same thing 61 times, just replacing the names. I don't know shite about the court of law, but why couldn't she just say that each of the following people were endangered/harmed by Brooks, then say that each person mentioned is a different charge?

Every charge must be read aloud.
