Brooks didn't present another side to this story.

he doesn't... if you waive the right to a public defender that's it... the state can't help you any further
he could've hired an attorney to serve in an assistant... but we know he can't afford that

Catching up but this record of his is some insane ramblings.
Hasn’t proven they have the right to practice law? Lol

One of the guests on Rekieta read through a SovCit handbook or guide to get insight on what he's doing. It basically said to confuse, delay, question legitimacy, refuse to recognize jurisdiction...all stuff that he's doing. The guest even suggested it'd be possible for the prosecution to submit that as evidence, but i really doubt they want that headache at this point. Their case is too solid to bother with that.

Hold up. Don’t know why I’m just realizing this, but in order to testify on his own behalf, he has to state his name on the record.

I have not listened totally consistently. Is this the first time the judge brought up SovCit on the record? Just curious

sounds like he is done with his witnesses except for his mom and potentially himself.
yes... according to the witness list... the last 2 witnesses he can call are his mom & himself
of note... his mom was released from her subpoena by the prosecution's office and the DA said they would not help him subpoena his mom since they have regular contact... so it seems like she will have to voluntarily come in to testify on Brooks behalf
that said... there's apparently a news story out there where his mom says she won't testify for him... she also apologized for his actions that day
so testimony should wrap Monday... prosecutors already said they will not have any redirect... so when he wraps then the evidentiary side is done

I bet Judge Dorow is begging for the chance to say to him... "say your name and spell it for the record"

That trial is a shitshow - and I'm putting that on the record. The judge is a joke and this should have been over weeks ago. Watched the past few days of it

she has shown way too much weakness... yes this should've been over a week ago but Brooks has delayed as long as possible

He claimed today that if he asked his mother to appear she would do so. We will see.

All of this commotion over something that a piece of lead that costs less than a dollar could take care of? I don’t care who it is, when it’s cut and dry like this and many other circumstances around the country, see Florida, the POS should’ve have already been sent to his maker.

I kind of want to see what he does if mommy is a no-show.

YouTube - moment Judge Dorow admits Brooks has her scared
It's a shame that she admitted she was scared at that point. It would have been better to have ignored him. He wasn't moving or making noise for a change. He would have had to stop to question his witness, but it would have been interesting for the jury to see this if he kept it up when they were brought back in.
I wish there were some court watchers in the courtroom to report on the jury's reactions during the trial.
