Right? I don’t care who the ceo of the company that makes my motor oil votes for. I care that it lubricates. It would be like going to a restaurant and getting the most delicious burger you know, but then you go digging and find out the chef has a bumper sticker you don’t like.

I still don't get the hate for the Gillette ad I didn't take it as a statement that all men are bad like some were claiming.

That commercial can stand alone and just be a good commercial. If Gillette hadn't done their commercial this one would still be a good commercial. I know it was in response to Gillette, but at least this one wasn't preaching.
