Because I don't think a razor company should preach to their customers?

I'd change the band and wear one of the Nato models, but that's about it.

That goes for the watch company too.
I didn’t find that one as preachy.
I think it’s the condescending, look down their nose, arrogance of the gilette one that irks people. (Plus all the black guys cockblocking the white dudes and being all “hey, you haven’t obtained her consent form, flirting is not ok).

I want to buy your products, not hear about how you think my life or the world should be.
100%. That would be like a company weighing in on religion.

you dummy. they werent preaching to their customers... they were firing back at Gillette and using the backlash to their benefit by playing on the emotions of people.

Right.
Like chick fil a has their Christian values but they aren't running ads telling people to go to church or die in hell.

As a man I don’t care about either commercial. Should be end of thread.

They really are a shining example of practicing what they preach. And tasty chicken

I have never stated where i agree or disagree with what gillette or what ever this watch company did.
there you go assuming someone stance just because they called you out.

You seem to be implying it's okay for the watch company to make this commercial because they're firing back at Gillette. Meaning it's okay because you agree with them.
It was very straightforward.

Some of those stats didn’t really make sense with the “we believe in men” message
For example the “49 percent of fathers without visitation rights support their children financially” I mean that’s just child support man and most of the time that’s not very voluntary

Reminds me of the old Chris Rock skit about people bragging. "I take care of my kids" "Yeah, you are supposed to take care of your kids"

I agree with the message of this commercial
I also agree with the message of the Gillette commercial. I don’t understand why calling out bad things is seen as bad.

Its just silly... Its asking for praise making an ad about something everyone agrees on. I am going to start a company, and I want to make an ad standing up against murder. Because I want it known that my company is against murder.

just tell me about your product and leave the other shite out.
If they had done this, the ad wouldn't have reached us. Wouldn't have been OT worthy. Marketing is a funny thing.
