Good thing he stopped. Woulda been much worse then it already will be for him. Too bad he didn’t just keep his mouth shut, refuse everything and only say the word “lawyer.”

If you get in an wreck caused by the other person, they die, and you have any alcohol in your system. You will be charged with manslaughter.

Because it is assumed that your inebriation contributed to the accident even if the other driver was somewhat at fault.
Here for example, a sober driver probably would have notice the woman laying in the road in time to avoid her, this guy likely didn't notice her at all until his car bumped over her. It's her fault for laying in the fricking road of course, but a sober driver may have been able to avoid her.

Unfortunately, this is the thing you have to think about when you have a drink and drive.... could frick up years or all of your life because of some other person being an idiot
