I think the issue is the manipulation of statistics. Mass shootings are terrifying but rare. However, there are random killings every day in most major cities in America. If most people knew what was happening daily, but in relatively smaller incremental doses, they’d be a lot more scared of that. But because it’s so common and so frequent, it never gets reported and people mostly have no idea.

It is such a complete BS hit piece. Looking it over, all I can help but think is "just image how much less bad would have happened if the victims had been armed too".

That was tough to look at - especially all the pics from Sandy Hook and Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando.

To save everyone some time, they are painting a narrative that basically every mass shooting is committed by a person with a full auto AR-15 shooting .50 caliber rounds out of a 100-round drum magazine.
Very sad and tragic, but inaccurate and doesn't address the core issues that lead to the shootings.

I couldn’t event make it through the article. Before I had kids I could but now that I have little ones it hits me different. Just awful.

The first couple of Uvalde pictures were all I could take and had to close it. Gut wrenching.

More people are killed with handguns yearly than all long guns combined.
That’s conveniently ignored.
And with the overwhelming majority of these “AR-15 shootings”, they all have an extraordinary number of odd coincidences for them to just be random.
Look at the guy they found dead in the park in Colorado, he wrote that he wasn’t a killer. Makes you wonder if he was programmed, and who did it.
