Problem is... that's not "honor"... that's enslavement and selling your daughter without giving her a choice in the matter and simply killing her for being what, in your mind, is not bringing YOU honor. And that's messed up. That's not everyone "knowing their role." That's... "This is what your role is, do you understand me? If not, you die." Seems to me, that's the very opposite of honor.
