January 2, 2009. I think I lurked for a while. I must have wanted to comment on something football related, probably Jordan Jefferson because he had a great bowl game against Georgia tech.
Honestly, I can’t believe I never joined while being a student. I loved message boards and of course loved LSU, but only frequented music message boards.

Saban to Bama. The LSU melts were epic.

Feel like the average age of board posters jumped by 10+ years when the poli board was added
First found TD when Saban left us at Christmas

Signed up during the Saban era which was one of the most exciting times to be an LSU football fan because you could see the tide turning

No… it was her whoring out her business on the house floor.
I’m mostly impervious to boobies.

It was the weekly name of arrestees in Shreveport from poster Zach that drew me in.
I think they stopped publishing the report and he stopped a few years back.

Had a friend that told me there was a dedicated forum for just LSU fans. The name cracked me up, so I checked it out and registered a few days later. The degree to which the site has grown in the last 20 years is pretty impressive.

Even before starting on campus I stumbled upon a decently active LSU fan site (I don’t remember the name and it’s long since defunct) in order to get some inside answers of what I was walking into.
One thing that kept on coming up was a tone of bitterness about those “posers at Tigerdroppings.” There were also fliers advertising TD all over community bulletin boards all over campus.
So one day curiosity got the better of me and I made an account and found it hilarious and engaging, and honestly a firm perspective of the current LSU community. Unlike now, pretty much all posters had direct ties to the campus and surrounding areas so it was an easy way to find out what was going on.

First 10 or so. But yes the growth was explosive.
Honestly it’s been dying a slow death for the past 10.

Some butthead mentioned ATPB on a forum I was on. Thanks a heap.
No idea why and when I first posted. It must have seemed like a good idea at the time.

I had seen some of LSUfreek stuff and found the fark board. Have a friend that has played every year for the last 15 in the World Series of Poker. When we would play at his house he has some of the worst gas imaginable to mankind. So I asked for a fark with his pic and someone came up with this.

Somehow stumbled on the OB Board in 2013 and found out I knew a bunch of dudes from my hometown of Funroe were on here. Actually I knew this was an awesome place when the OB was instrumental in having a benefit for a dude from the OB who was from Monroe that ended up dying of cancer that year. RIP EJW. People who never even met him showed up there.
Also Bama has nothing like TD.

Nope, I’ve always been a long time lurker.

Aspy, Slag, BBM, Houston chick, Madam Squirrel, JCMS, Bleu, SirDrinksalot and a few others plus some unmentionable LLOTOT convinced me to jump in after a bit of lurking.
