Initially registered when I heard there was an LSU site.
Became active when the 2008 financial meltdown happened and there was a chance of the debate being canceled. Wanted to celebrate because that would have meant Ole Piss getting screwed.

I was reading 225 Magazine when an article mentioned the Baton Rouge Rocks website (does that still exist?), which I'd never heard of. I surfed there awhile when somebody mentioned "this other site I go to". I clicked on the included link and the rest is frickIN' HISTORY.
I lurked for about a month. I never intended to post on TD, but you can thank another poster -- I won't name, but one with Karma -- who wrote something about Monty Python so completely bass-ackerds wrong that I simply had to register and correct him. I may be the only person whose first post was on the M/TV board.
So now you know who you can thank for the daily opportunity to bask in my inimitable aura.

Chicken bought up the Dawg Rant which was already running his code on his server, because the owner didn't give a shite anymore. So Chicken merged it into this site. I had been on that old one since around 2006. You will see a lot of UGA fans around with Sep (or Oct) 2012 sign on dates. That's because all the old Dawg Ranters had to re-register for a TD account in order to keep accessing the Dawg Rant site. Chicken even kept the same URL for a while.
