what exactly would they have gotten shot for? Walking around filming the inside of the capital or just waving flags? I mean most were let in. Am I saying they were wrong to enter? MAYBE but this JAN 6th Talking point from the Left was just that a made up BS look what Trump created and in the end they still couldn't get Trump.

It did.
The whole thing did. It was all an avoidable disaster. That doesn't mean I can't point out the hypocrisy. All the incidents of police killing citizens piss me off, not just killing the pretty girls.
But it made clear the Republican party has given up on civilized conservatism, and has degenerated into populist demagoguery. I'd be just as embarrassed to admit to associating with that as well.
