They got who they were looking for. They haven't said what he was arrested for, but because the police presence it likely was the suspect in the earlier shooting.

A constable deputy was shot in the back earlier today in NOLA serving an eviction.

I don’t think people realize how many agencies have jurisdiction in New Orleans. Add in the university agencies which have city wide jurisdiction and it is crazy. The bridge police were replaced long ago by DPS which is under LSP.
