id like one of those muscle cars. would be easy to get them cleaned out and running with the minimal electronics.

Ok cool thanks. Would imagine with that many cars to be unloaded, it would be outside of town b/c it's not like they are driving those cars one by one across the showroom.

You think that's bad... Ford GT & 458 Speciale Flooded

After seeing the windows down on that G63, I think there might be some insurance tomfoolery here.

Yeah I'd probably buy the muscle cars. Wouldn't want to frick with all the electronics on all the other super cars though.

I walked through a whole lot of cars up for auction after the August flood. Damn shame.

Those older muscle cars didn't have electronics. They may be worth looking at.

Trick question.

They'll just sneak it through the tunnel.

Especially if you were looking to do a frame off resto anyway. You know the frame and body of those are almost certainly going to be good and you're probably not going to find surprise rot when you start working on it.

if you stick with the american muscle cars with carburetors and no computers, there isnt much for the water to mess up.

drain and refill gas tank, replace interior, do a motor and tranny rebuild, check rear end fluid for water, after that, your good to go spending less then $5k so "if" the price is right you could find some good deals.

but anything late model with a computer is just scrap metal

The straight metal alone on those luxury cars are worth tens of thousands collectively. Ain't no scrap about them.

The Chevelle would be fine after some maintenance

The Tesla is completely shot.

Someone will get that Delorean.

Counts customs ought to go get a couple of trailers full of the sort of cars they like. They completely rebuild them anyway

It wouldn't be worth it for the high end cars, like Ferrari. Once you have a salvage title attached to the car, the value drops so low that there is not enough money left to repair the car.
