Walmart is pulling a popular brand of coconut milk off their shelves after reports of forced monkey labor.

Walmart became the latest retail giant to drop Chaokoh coconut milk from its catalog.

The mega-retailer pulled the beverage due to repeated allegations of monkey slave labor in its production.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) accused the Thai coconut milk supplier of using monkey slave laborers for harvest, which it claims are kept chained and improperly cared for.

Target and Costco have already pulled the brand. Work animals have been around for a really long time.

If they don't want to work, they could quit or find another job.

frick PETA, but if they are legitimately mistreating the animals (ignoring PETA’s position that using animals for work is always abusive), then frick em.

Also, are we going to have to start paying minimum wage to farm animals now?

We need UBI for monkeys so they can have a livable wage without having to work for peanuts.

Why? At least the monkeys were actually working. That's more than 65% of the lazy fricks will do in this country.

So when are they going to pull all of the products made in China. Unless Walmart is okay mass human rights violations.

Wait until the monkeys develop work place culture, and the tension boils over into a shite throwing war on the production floor.

Can't wait for their new chocolate coconut milk!

Yeah, I’m not touching that with a ten foot pole.

Been banned once, don’t want to go back there.

Apparently they are trained to climb trees and harvest the coconuts.

Why is this bad?

Elephants work for peanuts. Monkeys work for bananas.
