They just announced this joint membership if anyone uses both or would like to. I already had Walmart Plus and it cost me $13 to upgrade to include Sams Club (prorated till June 2027) then it's $120 a year, If you already have both it would be interesting to know if you get a refund or a credit.
The upgrade was very simple. I just went to my account in the walmart app and selected the button for the upgrade. I had to confirm my cell number and it automatically linked my expired Sams Club Membership.

What are the perks of a WalMart plus account?
Genuinely curious.

Free home delivery plus a free subscription to Paramount+
I have it and am thrilled I never have to set foot in a Wal-Mart

Grocery delivery for free. It's a gamechanger for busy families.

This......plus you 10cents off each gallon of gas at Murphys.

Grocery delivery for free over a certain amount, gas savings, Paramount plus or Peacock for free, etc etc
I have it and its great to use for grocery delivery. Easy to just throw stuff in the app throughout the week and then ask for delivery early saturday morning
You do get issues with wrong orders sometimes, and the people doing the shopping delivering are kinda retarded so there are issues there.
Sometimes I'll use Amazon/Whole Foods instead because they are better but the Walmart is primary

Walmart plus is free delivery of shipping items. Free delivery of groceries (expected to tip). A few other perks like a streaming app, etc.
When it first started it was fantastic, but lately in the New Orleans metro area they have forgotten many items or delivered wrong items.

One day, people won't have to leave their box for anything. They can just stay in their box.

This is also very true. The troglodyte retards they have shopping will make horrendous substitutions sometimes, or not deliver something, but Walmart is very good about just giving you money back for it through the app

Free grocery delivery on orders over $35
Free Shipping (like Amazon Prime)
10 cents per gallon gas discount where applicable
There are some discounts on some streaming (Paramount was, but I do not know if that is still true).
Their website says Scan and Go but I didn't know that was offered (I would subscribe for this alone).
WalMart Site
Have any of you used scan and go at Walmart? I used it at Sams Club all the time,

This is incredible. My wife and I only fuel up at Murphy next to our house. The membership will likely pay for it self just in gas savings

We canceled ours because almost all the deliveries were wrong and lazy delivery drivers.
One time though we did get a completely wrong delivery that was clearly for a barbeque someone was about to have. Just a bunch of slabs of ribs, hamburger meat, all the fixings, chips, drinks, etc. Was probably a $500 grocery order. Told Walmart they delivered the wrong order and the delivery driver was too lazy to come back and pick it up so they told us just to keep it and delivered our order later that day.

I usually don't have issues with deliveries. I have even ordered worms before when I was fishing behind the house and was getting low on bait. You can also order alcohol as long as you have an ID to scan when they arrive. The LA Wallet works great for that.

I use scan and go all the time when I'm picking up groceries. I fill my insulated totes and then can scan and walk right out. It's less convenient if you're making a big trip because you probably didn't bring enough bags and have to stop at the register anyway.

Yeah, I agree. I hand-pick all substitutions or select "do not substitute" these days. I don't mind popping down to the local small store down the road if they're out of something. I only do delivery because Walmart sucks to visit in person, but they have the widest variety of products.

I stopped using it for this reason. Wife has been on a kick lately to try to shop their every few weeks, so may fire it back up so she can do the shop & go in the store.
The Paramount+ is a nice touch, but I wish they let you upgrade to the no commercial plan.
