Meh. LG - I think that the admins have just tacitly accepted alters as a way of life - as long as it isn't abusive, they appear to generally let it slide.
My how things have changed, right?

No, I didn't admit to being anyone's alter. I said I am who I say I am. If you are who you say you are, then you cannot be an alter.
Ace has been nice to me, and the political board thinks anyone who is not a right wing extremist is some type of troll. They aren't interested in diverse political opinions.

Happened in Headland, AL. The local Piggly Wiggly closed after being there for 45+ years. Within weeks of that, WalMart announced the closing of their market store.
It's a shame, but that's business. Someone will fill the void.

Sounds like the previous grocer had a poor business model due to his monopoly in town. I guess he can now reclaim his throne using his lessons learned (lessons he learned thanks to Walmart).

And get an almost brand new facility, likely at a discount.
Sounds like win-win for the town AND the old grocer.

No, they're just not interested in talking to morons.

Can't stand it. I used to call Jones at least once a week from the parking lot bitching that half of the things on my list weren't there until he finally told me if I go there again when I know it sucks, he isn't going to answer the phone to hear me bitch

I don't think you understand business. He had a business model that worked well until the big giant greedy conglomerate came to town and wiped him out with predatory pricing practices.

Good point.
Capitalism wins again.

Just another instance of corporate espionage perpetrated by our government.
The government owns WalMart. I hope you know that. They put tracking devices on the clothes and biometric readers in our foods and then gather intel which is uploaded to their database.
I don't wear anything I don't make and don't eat anything I don't grow.

I've heard they are going to bulldoze down the closed markets in both Leonard and Whitewright. This is strictly rumor I heard at the horse feed place in Leonard.

You could learn from Ace Midnight how to be a gentleman.
I'm wary but not that wary (you would call it paranoia). I'm not gullible.
