I had an incident 4 or 5 years ago that stopped me from giving. A dude came with his sob story while I was pumping gas. I gave him a dollar. He looked at me as if he was offended and he said “that’s it”? So I snatched it back. He got very pissed that I snatched my dollar, threatened to whip my arse and it escalated quickly. He eventually walked away but that ended my hobo generosity.

Dude went to Catholic high, was an engineer, owned a couple houses when I knew him. I worked with his dad for a couple years, as well. It's just surprising.

The north side of LSUs campus is still shitty but back when it was a little shittier we were tailgating next to the law school tailgate and walked over to Circle K to get some beer. A bum approached and without saying a word to each other, I cracked open the case and tossed him a beer and he immediately turned tail and left us alone.
That’s the most generous I’ve ever been to a bum

Mine was over a decade and a half ago. I was pumping gas at the Chevron by ULM and a woman asked me for some money for food. Instead of giving her money, when I finished fueling my truck I parked it then walked with her next door to Wendy's and bought her a meal.
After I paid for her order she then asked me for money for bus fare. I just told her "no" then left.

You got between my very pregnant wife and her door while I was returning the buggy. Unfortunately for him her hand was in her purse and she was likely about to shoot him. Some of the Latino guys at the Home Depot saw it and we're actually walking over to tell him to go away.
I turned around from putting the buggy back and he immediately took off running. Either myself or those Mexican guys were going to throw him an arse whipping, but if he would have taken one more step toward the wife I'm pretty sure he was a dead man.
You said a whole lotta "if's" in that BS but didn't actually do anything. Loser

his FB posts have been "out there" for a bit. I thought he was just being eccentric. Maybe crack explains it

I felt bad for him but apparently he is an a hole and I'm too naive. My wife laughed at me and I said what if he does really need to go to hospital. She still laughed at me. Idiots like this are the reason, people don't help strangers.
Same reason why I don't anymore. Too many people running cons out there.

Incredibly easy. Rarely if ever do i have cash on me that isn't earmarked for something specific or just emergency cash that I hold onto.

What good does that do? BRPD isn't enforcing that, they will pick him up, drive him to the end of the parking lot and let him go

I’m confused. He has tons of money from rental houses but begs for money all over town?
Is he the same guy that used to wear LSU and Saints gear and would say he needed money for Pop-a-lock since he locked his keys in his car?
I read a thread about him, then saw him at Target on Siegen the next day.

quote:Its quite possible in the case of this guy, if walmart makes the call he would at minumum be ticketed and have to appear before a judge..... or maybe not but th more his is on the police radar the better imo.

Uh-oh. Here’s Kevin at Walmart today. Looks like the internet post didn’t work.
