The last couple times I encountered him I say “what’s up Kevin?!” As he approaches and he quickly leaves.

What y’all don’t know is Kevin posts here. Screen name:

Question….. The owner of the property or a representative must issue the trespass in order for police to give him a trespass warning. And a police officer cannot ask/solicit the owner for a trespass. So this has been done, apparently. What I wonder now is since he’s been trespassed, if he goes back, does the owner or representative have to then complain about him on the property or can any Joe blow call the police and report him like this thread says to do?

. I just answered him with a made up hard luck story of my own.

Last time he hit me up at a Lowe’s and I called him out. Called him Kevin and told him no. Then I followed him around the parking lot telling everyone he walked up to that his name is Kevin and he’s well known for doing this. I kept it up until he left the property.

Much better than making up a hard luck story.

No it’s not. The question is, can a LEO arrest a trespasser after a citizen complains about a criminal trespass (after a trespass warning was issued), or does the property owner/rep have to be the one to notify police?

Poor Kevin. What did he do to deserve such public humiliation? Was he selling glow sticks outside?

Dude went to Catholic high, was an engineer, owned a couple houses when I knew him. I worked with his dad for a couple years, as well. It's just surprising.
