Was never blown away by the food, but never really disappointed either. I had an absolute blast at the one on Burbank a few times for LSU basketball games.
That one location is like 70% sports bar, 30% restaurant. The new ones in the burbs are more like 50/50.

I'm not going out of my way and saying "Damn, I'm craving Walk-Ons!"
But if I want to go to a place with decent food to watch a game or sports in general, that's probably one of my first choices.

Walk ons was so much better when there were only two locations in BR. The food sucks now. Feels like I’m eating some cheap packaged meal. I don’t even like going to any of them anymore.

Walk-Ons boudin balls, gumbo, cheese sticks, cajun dillas, and buffalo chicken sandwich are among the best around in casual sit-down restaurants.

They have a solid menu compared to most chain restaurants. What drives success for them is that Walk On's is generally a very good place to catch a game with colleagues or friends. Plenty of options for beer and a big enough food menu so that everyone can find something they like.
The took the Buffalo Wild Wings formula and made it not suck and appeal to a broader market.

They need to fire everyone and start over. And buy a damn broom and dustpan for the raised dining area how about. Last time I was there I saw as much food on the floor as in peoples plates. Service was terrible. The one in Juban Crossing gets it right!

I have never met anyone IRL who thinks walk ons food sucks. It only sucks on tigerdroppings.

Lit and Izzos (and Modesto and Rocca) are same company.
Walkons has Drew Brees affiliation, as does Smalls. That might be why you’re thinking that.

Lit Pizza opened up just down Sullivan Road next to the Starbucks over a year ago. Lit was supposed to go in that area where Walk On’s will be but something clearly changed.

What was the name of the place that was there before Walk On's? I tried it a couple of times but it was pretty bad.
I'm sure the rent there was higher than most other restaurants around. And for that they don't really get direct visibility to Corporate or Jefferson.
