Sure, stay at home is designed to help hospital services. But it is also designed to prevent spread as well. If people aren’t out and about, they aren’t catching (or passing along) the virus.

I realize and accept that non-Christians would think it stupid for people to risk exposure to a virus just to go to Church. That's fine, their opinions are theirs. For Christians and their leaders to have given up their practices voluntarily and so easily has been sad to see.
You'd be right as a non-Christian to question how much it really means to us.
However, I wouldn't go to church during a tornado. I wouldn't go to church if I knew for a fact that I had COVID-19 either. The reason why I wouldn't attend church in those situations is because I don't believe God wants us to needlessly put our own lives or other people's lives in danger.
Going to church right now doesn't make you St. Stephen or Daniel in the lion's den. It makes you someone who is unnescecarily risking your own life and the lives of other people, and that's dumb.

It's not like he said let's just do this because of the virus, he would have been surrounded by 1,500 people at some point regardless.
Whenever we are given the all clear in May or June doesn't mean the virus is gone, it will literally still be around and infecting people, just not at a level that will strain hospitals.
I think people are in for a rude awakening once they start doing shite again and catch the Rona.

That's because it would be ridiculous to attempt to do so, as all reasonable people would agree using basic common sense.
This is not the same situation, as evidenced by the fact that very many reasonable people disagree about the severity of the virus and that people are going to WalMart and Lowe's every day.

Obviously we disagree about the feasibility of attending Church in a safe way at this time.
Regardless of any differences of opinion on that, Christians have certainly shown that we don't put the practice of our faith ahead of temporal concerns. Of course, anyone paying attention already knew that.
