Obviously the only viable option is for Congress to pass a Federal Law which only allows police to shoot AFTER being shot at. Sure a ton of police will get killed and yes a bunch of violent felons will get away but if it saves just one life. It will be worth it.

911 call audio/body cam footage
while on the phone with 911 they asked if he had a gun, he said he didn’t. cop shows up while he’s still on the phone with dispatch, phone to his ear, and gets lit up 10 TIMES.
