You are a fricking idiot. I usually am on the side of the cops 99% of time. Not this time. That cop is completely in the wrong in my mind. Her car her cigarette....telling her to get out for being upset? Then arresting her? I would have been pissed too. So bc cops wear a uniform we have to bow down and never disagree..please.
Fyi I'm white and 32. I probably would not have made a scene like that, but who knows if I had a bad day and I get pulled over for turn signal I may be an arse but I would have made it a much worse week for that cop if he arrested me for some bs like I just saw.

That made me sick.

If you want to see the reason that he pulled her over, you need to pay attention to the deceased's car at approximately 1:17-1:21 of that video. It explains why he started following her to begin with. She blew through a stop sign right in front of him.

Had this been true, she would have gotten a ticket, or warning ticket for it. The warning ticket was for getting out of his way without signaling. He turned around when she blew through the stop sign though. Why didn't he write a ticket for that, or even mention it? It was a perfect chance for him to grab some money for the public coffers.

Not only did common sense not prevail, it did not make an appearance, on either one of their parts.

She was involved in the black lives matter stuff. She should have put the smoke out because she already knew he was an a-hole and she was black.

She was pulled over for failing to use a turn signal, that happens to everyone. She was asked to step out of the vehicle because she was acting like a crazy bitch. That was her choice. Sad that she is dead but if she hadn't been giving that "oh no you didn't" attitude from minute one she would probably still be alive today.
In situations like this, where no serious crime has been committed and the suspect is giving off an attitude, why can't cops just write out a ticket, place it under the driver's windshield wiper, and carry on? The problem with cops is they demand complete obedience and a servile attitude at all times.

Because the driver has to acknowledge they have been stopped. If cops just let you move along like you've done nothing wrong what is the point of traffic laws?

If a random person walks up to you with a gun, would you not just do whatever they ask?

She pulled over. She answered his question of "you seem irritated". How did she not comply with "acknowledgement"?

It is the responsibility of the cop to maintain professionalism...he clearly broke from that. His attitude became apparent quickly. He will be significantly disciplined...but small dick frickers like him deserve a beat down which he won't get.

She pulled over to get out of the cops way so he decided to pull her over for not using a signal when she got out of his way? This cop was clearly looking to start some shite with her. This pig clearly deserves a bullet to his fricking head.

She was in her cell for 3 days as a result of the turn signal violation. Was she allowed outside contact? I haven't seen that answer to that.

Last Thursday here in Texas, I had a motorcycle cop pull over beside me while stopped at a red light. He screamed at me and called me a motherfricker at least twice. Then, when I rolled my window down and started calling him a fricker right back, he sped off down a side street...that was the second time within the last year that a Texas cop has lost their shite and screamingly cussed at me through my window.

It is a damn good reason to pull her over. He was looking for something and it wasn't tickets. That is why he was giving warnings out. He was looking for something in that area. Maybe they had a rash of burglaries, robberies of something else.

I have made a ton of great arrest off of ticky tack little violations. I have also let a ton of people off with a quick warning if they weren't the criminal I was looking for.

I believe what you've described is also known as racial profiling.... and I'm a big fan of it. It's smart police work if you just play the numbers and the probability game.

Just watched the video. I don't know if she commited suicide or not.

The cop was a little over the top. He had written her a ticket and as she was signing it asked her to put her cigarette out, to which she refused. Why not let her sign the ticket and go on about her life? Why did he have to start shite over a cig? And then asking her to step out when she refused? Come on, dude. Seems excessive.

ETA: And then he physically tried to pull her out of her car because he said she was being arrested and when she asked why she was being arrested he had zero response.

First car he told she was getting a warning right away. It looked like he wanted her to have an attitude.

BTW, has it been explained why she was still in jail 3 days after the arrest?

Because often times these people can't get the down payment for their bail and they sit in jail for days over some petty shite. They often lose the hourly jobs they work. All because some cop simply won't abide no lip. fricking gotta show their authority all the time, and people can't get mad about them ruining their day.

Yeah, she challenged the ego of another me talk midget. Dude even lied in his police report. Typical bulls hit cop tactics.

I laughed when she told the cop South Carolina made him a pussy. She was nothing more than a drama queen who felt empowered by the dumb shite over the last year.

Cop did nothing wrong.

Think of how pathetic that is. A tiny dicked pig didn't get his respect he felt he was due for not going to college and wearing a badge that nearly anyone could get if they set low expectations for themselves. I hate cigarettes, but her car is her property and last I checked it wasn't illegal to smoke in your own car.

I hope he loses his job and gets depressed and maybe he'll understand her situation. Traffic pigs are a waste of space and tax dollars. We are paying these slobs to pull us over to help pay to keep them around. Makes sense?

This is the problem with the modern day douche bag American cop. They demand a servile attitude and even the slightest offense trips these power tripping douche bags off.

But then again...America is a cop and military worshiping country.
