Here's what I saw in the video.
Cop pulls over vehicle for failure to signal. - This is done everyday without incident all across America. Some agencies use the failure to signal as a tool to further investigate other possible violations. Could be intoxicated which would be a possible cause for the failure to signal, could be overly nervous because she is transporting drugs.
The exchange at her car window begins when he says she seems aggravated. - This aggravation could be a symptom of other illegal activity. This would warrant asking the search the vehicle for further investigation.
When she responded to his request to extinguish her cigarette negatively she again creates suspicion of other illegal activity.
I believe the officer was doing his job, but he lost his temper at the point where he said that he was going to "Yank" her out of the car. The situation escalated from there. She didn't deserve to die and was treated extremely poorly during the attempt to arrest her.
I hope the can find out if she actually killed herself or she was murdered.

Also, She asks the cop several times why she was being apprehended. He is required by law to state why. He repeatedly had no answer. He probably knew he had to make up some BS later when he calmed down for a reason. Because giving lip is not a reason. And when will people, not necessarily you, realize that resisting arrest does not fly.

Just so we are clear, you can be arrested for any traffic crime other than speeding in Texas. Her failure to use a turn a signal was enough to justify an arrest.

Agreed. I also expect cops to respect the people that pay their salary (not trying to turn this into a who pays taxes argument).

I have no doubt she was murdered. After all, it's at least every other day that I encounter someone I have never met before in the course of my job and think "frick it, I am going to risk my career and freedom to kill this person even though I don't have a good reason," Everyone thinks this way right? I have zero doubts that these jail employees all conspired together to do this and now are all covering for each other. Not to mention, they got her to cooperate and hold still so they could string her up with a trash bag. I just wonder if they invited the DPS Officer back down to participate as well. It's just crazy that, since they apparently just randomly murder people at this jail, that the outside authorities and media haven't picked up on all the other times they have done this. Because it must be all the time since a one time occurrence wouldn't support this being a homicide.
What's really ludicrous is those folks who think this was a mentally unstable person who got depressed at being arrested and committed suicide. Those social media posts where she admits depression and "PTSD" have zero association to this. Just crazy talk.
Definitely the cops fault. In fact, I am calling for rescinding all traffic laws moving forward. #DrivingAnarchy. Also think we should get rid of all other laws and cops too. Because if even one life is saved by not ever again enforcing the law then it is all worth it. This officer should have been able to gaze into the future and realize that this traffic stop would result in a death and made the split second decision to not stop her. All everyone else's fault.

In the end, no they did not bring that charge because other charges made it pretty pointless. That however does justify her arrest.

He may have had asthma and couldn't be around second hand smoke, so he politely asked her to put out her cigarette.
Could she be considered a victim of tobacco usage? Because in all honesty, that cigarette did begin all of this.
