Not a jet, but my favorite World War II fighter - the Supermarine Spitfire!

No ill will PJ but the Mach Loop valleys are in Wales, in the western UK.

“Heath” birds have flown through there for quite some time, be it F-111F’s in the 80’s/90’s or F-15E Struke Eagles from the 90’s on.

;)

Great youtube link of Lakenheath birds going through parts of the Mach Loop

Ive flown on a C 130 when they opened the back and air dropped jeeps and other equipment. Amazing experience. They also did a re fuel in flight. "C 130 rolling down the strip, airborne daddy gonna take a little trip"

Saw some facts the other day. US could basically win a war against the rest of the world. Us has more war planes than the next 8 largest countries combined. And it has more military ships than the next 10 largest countries combined. Along with superior technology. Us would basically start from the top and work its way down the ladder.

Here in Funroe they were doing military day out at ULM and I didn’t know. My house was right under the flight path these jets took (can’t remember what kind but they were fighters). I was taking my trash out and kept hearing something but couldn’t really tell what it was when all of the sudden the volume was cranked up to a 1000 as they passed eight over me. Scared the shite out of me and I ended up falling to the ground ducking as my head scrambled to figure out wtf was going on

Never seen anything that cool, but several years ago I was driving down Hooper road near the BR airport and saw what looked like a shark fin for second, then it shot up about a 150 degree angle and shot up at a super high rate of speed. It was some type of military fighter jet, I don't know enough to say what kind or have a clue why it was there, but it was cool as shite to see especially completely unexpected like that.

ETA: Corrected my horrific Geometry error.

Damn, that cockpit video of that Argentine jet is crazy. He would have decapitated some folks if they didn't scatter and it looks like he pulled up a hair maybe 10 yards out or so. Insane.

I would love to see an F-15 flying at almost 1,900 mph!

Those speeds aren’t as impressive when you realize that they can only get that fast at very high altitudes.

They’d be lucky to get to around 900mph at low altitudes.

Great post! WoW! Amazing.

Although, I am surprised such low flying maneuvers are allowed in such public areas.
