Wow. That prop got my butt clenched

I'm so confused about what happened though. Water appeared very shallow. How was that freighter able to go over? And was he diving without a diver down flag?

Not sure. That's what I was wondering too.

I only saw one prop, no way that's was a freighter. Looked like some sort of single screw tug boat.

A freighter isn't worried about a diver in a river. By the time they see the flag it's to late anyway.

He has to know that that is a risk of diving there.

The video says this is on the St. Clair River in Michigan, but the freighters that pass through that area are wayyyy bigger than that.

Notice the inverse relationship between the number of air bubbles and prop distance.

I wonder if each one held its own miniature but complete "OH frick!" or just bits and pieces of the big one...

That motherfricker could have at least got scared with his hand out of the camera. I couldn't see most of the money shot.

Most ocean going freighters are single prop.

1. Most ocean going freighters have a 25'-30' draft. That wasn't anywhere near that.

2. That wasn't an ocean or an ocean going freighter.

No where close to a ocean liner. Water is way to shallow and ship or boat way to small.

An ocean going freighter is huge. Absolutely huge. You can see them coming from 20+ miles away. Used to be on the beach watching them come into port.

That ain't no freighter
