The beginning of the video reminds me of the When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong skit from the Chappelle Show when there was that pause and he put the vehicle in reverse.

Reminds me of back to the future.
“What’s wrong dude? You yellow?”

My guess is he was looking for a weapon in the Scout that he could plant on the guy.

He said, "This is my street!"
"It's my street, too!"
That guy was driving too fast. So overall - with the killer gone too - the neighborhood is a much safer place.

This dude’s brother had just gotten convicted for the murder and dismemberment of a 12 year old girl a few days before that too

That is beyond sad. One of the most profoundly disturbing things I've read in a while. They drugged, raped, tortured, killed, dismembered, and burned her body... on her 10th birthday.
And as if that's not bad enough. Her mother was the one finding men to have sex with her, so she could watch.
Damn man. When you think the world sucks. Stories like this prove it's worse than you think.

That's one of the sickest things I've ever read.
His brother?
Adds up.
Wonder how many other people he'd murdered where no cameras were around...

I can't see what happens when the guy gets out and confronts him, when they are arguing. It says inaudible. The driver could have threatened him or said he was going to get a gun out of his car to shoot him. It was definitely escalated and the driver wasn't running away. A good lawyer could plant some doubt and we don't know the drivers history, which might be a factor..

I think the first shot you've got a self defense argument -- guy said he'd kill me and lunged toward me, had to react.
It's the BAM BAM BAM! shots in the back after and cursing him on the ground -- all on video. Waiting to call 911.
Doesn't seem like his first rodeo.

I had that problem too. I motioned for them to slow down too. I stayed on the phone with the sheriff traffic division every day. They got tired of me calling. They sent out a couple of motorcycle cops, but the neighbor had slowed down because he, his brother, wife, and son all worked for the sheriff. They must have been tipped off. Couple years later he, and the sheriff went to prison.
So, all these people were speeding past your place? He, his brother, wife, and son?
You’re so full of shite it makes me sick.

I can't tell what they are saying. Plus I don't know their history together. They are obviously going back and forth, it's mutual. The one is open carrying. If the driver says something like, "I'm going to get my gun and shoot you". Do you have to wait for him to show you the gun before shooting him? Only fire when fired upon?

I'm not a lawyer, but I'd imagine it's different depending on which state.
Also, I'm not sure if someone says "I'm GOING TO get my gun" if that constitutes being able to kill them. I think there has to be an imminent threat to life or property (again, probably different between states) and I'm not sure someone saying that constitutes an imminent threat. If they had a gun on them and said I'm going to kill you, especially if they were holding their gun, I'd have to imagine that would be seen as an imminent threat.
I'd guess here in Cali, if someone said they were going to get a gun and kill me and I shot them, I'd probably be in jail for murder right now. However, if this same thing happened in Florida, I might be at home or awaiting trial on manslaughter. Not saying that's how those 2 states work, just used the states as examples.

Self-defense.
Speeder aggressively backs up, starts cussing the shooter out for telling him to “slow down”, gets out of his truck and walks on the shooter’s property to confront him. Words exchanged, speeder appears to shove the shooter at 1:05 mark, shooter draws and fires.
Just because the guy turns around doesn’t mean he isn’t still a threat. Shots were fired in rapid succession- not a prolonged gun battle with the shooter chasing him down.
Crappy situation all around, but I’d rather be the shooter than the guy that got a beating in his own driveway by some hot-headed speeder.

Guess the speeder found himself a real one.
