He doesn’t charge like a bull, but he does repeatedly approach and when he was shot he was walking right at her and was within a car length of her.

Sigh...
What do they say, when you can't attack the message attack the messenger?
I worded my post the way I did, because as I stated, sometimes we are prone to see things through our own biases. So I appealed to the men on this board who are going to be vastly white, before you condemn this women or defend this man, would you feel the same if it was YOUR wife. If yes, then carry on, if not them maybe give pause. Kind like in the movie "A Time to Kill," great movie by the way.
I never accused you or anyone else of being racist in this post, nor did I imply it.
Is this board not for discussion? In a discussion am i not allowed to try to get people to see things through my pov?

Yep. The full parking lot surveillance footage should show what led up to it and will add context just like the longer video did. Something happened for the guy to be recording.
People getting on their high horse with no real idea of the full picture are hilarious. All of the footage available will be broken down frame by frame and hopefully there are witnesses that can fill in some of what was said.

But not a murderer
Self appointed prick constantly looking for a reason and also a child molester. Guy has waived his gun during road rage incidents as well. Zimmerman has the type of behavior that bothers me with the idea of self defense.
Tell me something, how about Trayvon feeling threatened and defending himself from a guy stalking him at night with a gun? Zimmerman was not authority whatsoever. Only some self appointed neighborhood watch guy with an agenda.
I typically go against these, but I can absolutely see Trayvon defending himself from some whacko with a gun coming after him. How does he know Zimmerman's intent here? It's sad people just assume Zimmerman was fully innocent here. Dude said something along the lines of, "I'm tired of them getting away with it." Imagine what he might have been doing and saying to Trayvon.
Zimmerman deserved to get his arse beat, because he has consistently gone down this type of behavior picking on people and looking for a reason. I don't think going after someone after being told to stand down is self defense. And I don't blame a young person for defending himself against some psycho following him at night.
It's such shite to me that someone can pursue another and if that other person responds to defend themselves then they can shoot them and people like you are cool with it.
frick that shite.

Based solely on the video that was provided. She got out of the car brandishing the gun.
Go watch the longer video. I think the interaction is much longer than either video but in the longer one you can see him before the gun was pulled. Both should have de-escalated the encounter but that could be said for every single shooting ever.

I've seen the whole video and I'm on Team Queen.

the best part is how she continues to lecture the corpse on how to 'properly approach a black woman'
She doesn't help her case with that bullshite. The self-defense issue should have nothing to do with how someone "has to properly approach a black woman."
Our society as a whole is getting too easy with using firearms to solve bullshite disputes.

Yep. And she should gotten in her car and called the cops to help. Stand your ground is a slippery slope here. Both had options to deescalate and did not. There was little apparent danger to her as he was clearly unarmed. She should have gone to a secure area or to her car.
He was a GD fool for approaching a person several times with a gun pointed at him. He should have backed off and called the police.
Nothing good will come out of their decisions.

Well you are absolutely entitled to your opinion.
Also, you dont seem too upset about other posters making it seemingly about race...
Poaters making comments about ebt, queens, disrespect, Karmelo Anthony. I mean I personally dont see how those are related to this particular topic of a parking lot encounter, but im sure whatever it is, its not race related...

oh you can tell from her body language she knows hes not a threat. just replace with 'waffle house counter' or 'climbing through mcdonalds drive through window' in the scenario and her actions are identical, minus the firearm.
If it was your wife, daughter or mother in the video repeatedly being approached by a man after she pulled the gun and he was told to stop, would your opinion be the same? (In my best Matthew mcconaughey voice impression) Now picture the man is black and approaching your family member. Because that is what this lady was facing.
This was a man crazy enough to keep moving forward in the face of a gun being pulled on him, over a parking space. In this scenario neither of them were right.
Park far enough away that you do not have to worry about someone wanting your parking spot or parking close enough to going your doors when they get out.

Based on what I saw it was justified. He approached her multiple times in an aggressive manner. She's a female and I can see where she felt her life was in danger. Its unfortunate it had to end like this.

Not in Florida. Sorry, it’s not really that slippery a slope when the male had the opportunity to leave but continued to approach. In Florida you have no obligation to flee

I don't think it's worth sticking around over, but he was clearly upset. It's easy for most of us to say just walk away. Doesn't mean he should have been shot for walking around.
I don't consider walking in her general direction is charging her. He had been pacing towards and around her for quite some time, but he was still walking at that point.
Would have been interesting if he pulled a gun on her after she pulled a gun on him. Then what?
Does she get to shoot him, because he simply pulled a gun? She also had a gun on him. How does he know her intentions at this point?
If two people pull guns on each other then what?
She had a gun on him, but could he quick draw and kill her not knowing her intentions? She could be bat shite crazy as well. And if he draws a gun to protect himself then she likely feels threatened if she can't even handle him barely walking around. So she gets to shoot him in self defense for drawing his gun?
Stand your ground sure seems silly. You might as well be the first to shoot every time.

100%.
Call the cops and report that she brandished a firearm over a parking spot.
In that scenario, she's getting arrested and charged with a felony, having her car towed, and having to pay for court costs, a fine for brandishing the firearm, and probably another fee to get her car back from law enforcement.
Instead, that moron paid with his life. Dumb*ss.
