Fontana has more money from his law practice than most here realize.

Yeah isn’t he one of the lawyers that initally took it to the Catholic Church for all of that priest molestation shite?

Think I remember hearing that at the time he was the lawyer for the largest settlement in history against the Catholic Church

Not defending superintendent but most people who hold this position Make 150 to 200k...depends on what his annual was before hand to decide if the raise was fair or not...the raise could have just brought him up to competitive status in order to keep him from leaving to go to another parish for more money....any info on that? .....what I tell people is, if they want that kinda cash, then become a superintendent and quit bitching about what others make, "you" choose ur job knowing what kind of work it entails and what the salary was ,so why COMPLAIN? jmo

The whole thing isn't about the raise. Half the board wanted his contract extended and half didn't. Meaning half the board wanted him gone. The raise was written into the extended contract, only making matters worse.

The corruption of the board to get the votes to pass the contract extension/raise is the cause of it all.

The news only knows a part of the story. The main issue was actually discussed in the video, but its being overshadowed by what happened.

It's a long road...philosophy still applies my friend...

Get your masters
Become a principal
Earn a board position
Move up
Get your doctorate perhaps
Become pr director perhaps
Then an assistant super
Maybe find another parish and beome the super....

It's a long road and the pay is worth it and yes its about the money ,he got extended and he got whatever he got...if the parish wants to bitch , teachers wanna bitch, if they don't approve well they don't approve of any superintendent because they all get paid....maybe if the teachers are mad maybe they should go to another parish and work....again teachers "chose"their jobs.....period...accept it

This is not necessarily to you, but to posters in general.

Historically most here would be saying that someone deserved to be arrested, even forcefully, simply because a person did not comply with a lawful order from LEO and talked back. The dangerous woman even had the gall to put her hands on him when he first attempted to escort her out after she did not immediately complied. While I agree that she should not have been arrested at all, I would be remiss if I did not point something out?. If this were Mr. Gary chambers, or someone with similar outward appearances, or some pink dye haired SJW, I seriously doubt anyone would come to his/her defense as they did for this woman.

Furthermore, according to many people here this kind of story with these types of specific players involved are not supposed to make national headlines. This one did,- as a lead story. Of course it’s Fox news.

Are we seeing a shift in the mindset of the OT? Or is this just predictable hypocrisy?

So the majority here actually do come to Mr. Gary chambers’ defense when he is escorted from council meetings? Please link me to that. Because he has been escorted from many

It looks bad for the parish and business community.
It looks bad to developers and people who potentially want to buy lots in areas that I and other farmers want to sell their farmland by lot. They have a decent public school system and everything they did was erased by this incident hurting our pocket books.

If she wasn’t a over achiever in eating with that attitude she would turn me on! Just saying!
