Too many law school graduates and simply not enough jobs.

What would the consequences be, if any, for graduates of one of these schools who have already passed the bar? asking for a friend.

None. I don't think it would even affect an applicant to a bar. As long as it met the criteria at the time the student graduated. Anything else would be patently unfair.

Good. Market is saturatd. Getting a law degree these days is one of the most unimpressive things you can do.

But let's face it, you graduate from a school that lost its mf accreditation looks pretty terrible

Yep. In this market unless you're taking over the family's practice or just love the law, anything other than top-tier or the best state school (with in-state tuition) seems a waste.

My old neighbor growing up went to Appalchia School of bullshite and this was the case for him as he wanted to join his uncle's shite arse practice and help him. He graduated a few years ago and has five cases which he botched terribly and two of which he is getting sued for legal malpractice. His uncle isn't much better

It would likely only marginally affect your outlook, as pretty much all of those schools are widely considered quite terrible (although, I thought Valparaiso was considered somewhat well regarded). It's not like anyone looking to hire a Cooley or Texas Southern grad, is going to suddenly have second thoughts because the school subsequently shut down.

None. Once you pass that's it. It only affects future students.

I knew Cooley was going to be on this list. They actually put out some law school "rankings" a few years ago that magically had them ranked #1.
