I know plenty of guys who will wear condoms but will take a dive without hesitation. This makes no sense to me.

You're embarrassed to talk about stuff like this with your doctor?

I've never shared the fact that I like to eat pussy with my Dr.

It's a great ice breaker. "Hi, I'm The Torch, and I love to eat pussy."

Is anyone altering their oral habits due to the rise in oral cancer statistics possibly due to HPV
Not to detract from the main point of the thread.
But worth noting that while there is a clear association with HPV and orophayngeal cancers, we weren't realy typing or subtyping most heand and neck neck tumors until about 5-10years ago depending on the institution.
So obviously there's a rise percentage of associated HPV orophayngeal tumors as we are testing for it now.
Also there aren't standards in how we test for HPV. Some only test for a surrogate marker which is not fool proof.
In either case, as the the number of people who smoke decline we obviously will see a greater % of HPV related tumors. It's a hot area of research Currently.

we are seeing so much more Head and Neck cancers these days, most are related to HPV. SAD!
Pretty nasty treatment too, I might add.

The HPV vaccine is more dangerous than getting cancer. This is one vaccine that needs to die/go away.
Get an up close look at at squamous cancer in the pelvis encasing the iliac vessels, google total pelvic exenteration, watch a woman die from cervix cancer, or see a verrucous carcinoma of the vulva, and I will wager you will think differently.

The Dr. would probably say "I do too..especially the nurse that walked you back here..."

I think the cancer rate will hit millenials hard as they age. Some of that will be due to HPV. Hell, most people don't know what HPV is.

well. If that's the case, let me get my daughters a pack of smokes as well for when they are done.

men get cancer so much more rarely from HPV that they don't vaccinate men like they do women.
For most men, you get over it eventually.

I've never heard of any guys getting it. Really wish my wife got it back in the day, but she's 29 now and we aren't hooking up with anyone else. She's got whatever she's gonna get I guess in terms of HPV. Her papsmear and all of that has been clear every time though.

This was my cancer. I was miserable and suicidal for 3 fricking months unable to eat anything and only drink ensure. I would drink 3 a day and vomit out 1 sometimes 2. I laid in my bed weak. But yesterday just got the news that I'm in remission. I treated myself to a great meal at Mike Anderson's in Gonzales. Now I just need to rebuild my strength and find a new job as my strength builds.
