If the Wisconsin study finding holds up, then people with breakthrough infections—many of whom do not develop COVID symptoms—can unknowingly spread the virus. “It [is] an alarming finding,” explains Katarina Grande, a public health supervisor and the COVID-19 Data Team Lead of Madison & Dane County, who led the study.
Did everyone read all the way to this part?

That’s not what we were told
There was always gonna be breakthrough cases. Before the vaccine was distributed, they said that Moderna and Pfizer had a 90-92% efficacy.
How many unvaccinated vs vaccinated people are showing up in hospitals getting sick? Vaccinated account for 1 out of 10, seems like 90% efficacy to me.

Complete shutdown. Can’t leave your home. Police checkpoints at all major intersections. Be prepared to show your papers or be arrested. All protests are outlawed in the name of public health.
We must stop the spread of this deadly virus. Everyone needs to do their part. We’re all in this together.

I think it’s time to address the questionable early treatment protocols doctors are using on patients. Maybe they need to do a tad more than send you home and tell you to go to the hospital when you think you’re worse.

They’re just as big a vector as the unvaccinated.
Conditional on catching covid, vaccinated and unvaccinated are equally likely to infect other people. But vaccinated people are still significantly less likely to catch covid.
Do whatever you want about the vaccine; I won’t be one of the screechers. But those saying the vaccinated and the unvaccinated share equal responsibility for the spread of the disease are just flat out wrong.

we have created a vaccine that turns subjects into asymptomatic carriers
I couldn't care less if I'm an "asymptomatic carrier"
There are many choices you could choose to protect yourself....if you make the choice not to that's a fine choice as well....but don't expect me to fell bad about being an "asymptomatic carrier"

Again I don't care.
Asymptomatic disease has been one of the big fallacies of this response from day 1.

Then why are the Covidians obsessed with people who have a stastically zero chance of dying from it vaccinated?
This remains the big question. Of course several d bags will say it’s just because they care. Suck it sheeple

The constant misunderstanding of the purpose of a vaccine on this board is breathtaking. It is amazing, really.

The people that are trying to force you to get vaccinated are idiot...the people trying to convince you to get vaccinated aren't smart either because they actually think they can change your mind.
Only you can change your mind based on choices you make or don't make.
I'm very OK with that....people that aren't are idiots.

A small percentage of a large number can be a large number in itself.
Louisiana hospitalization numbers are a great representation of that.

Other than keeping the vulnerable from dying its been an abject failure judging from the basis it was advertised at.
What about hospitalizations?

Idk why you're getting down votes the compassionate vaxed should be so thankful to know they're spreading. Now they can stay home and keep other people safe...

What’s the purpose T? I’m sure you’ll respond with where the goalposts are now.
For the millionth time. Why is something so awesome requiring so much peer pressure and monetary incentive?

From the standpoint of preventing the disease entirely that argument could be made. However, the argument could be made that it works just as good as any other vaccine for upper respiratory disease causing viruses.....it still is better than the annual flu shot.
From the standpoint of hospitalization and death it has still been basically as successful as they said within a 5% margin of error or so.

The fact that the vast, vast majority of people under 50 will never see a hospital or serious disease (similar to normal flu), and this vaccine, which allows for infection and spreading, is being shoved down their throats anyway, despite zero long term studies on MRNA complications in ANY population, BOGGLES NY MIND.

I am vax'ed to prevent extreme symptoms.
I am not disillusioned that can still contract it. So, I try to mitigate exposure (no crowds, hygiene) and, where cannot mitigate exposure, I try to minimize load exposure (distance, mask, nasal spray, gargle H2O2/H2O mix).
So far so good. Even had Covid in our house a few weeks ago (son).

Scardy vaxx.
I'm vaxxed and I've lived a normal life ever since. I refuse to wear a mask or not do anything that I did do normally prior to March 2020.
As I said before there are choices that people can make to protect themselves if they choose not to make them I really don't care if I spread it to them.

Because people are very, very stupid.
